Had no idea where to post this, so I've put it here.
I don't write, but have a "plot bunny" I'd like someone to write a story for me/us? with this theme. The Pearl Harbor anniversary is approaching and with Mann now in Hawaii and Tony loving all things Magnum, and I note from the roll of honour that more than one Gibbs lost their lives at Pearl, and a McGee, can someone do this for me? Afraid you have a deadline of a week, if anyone feels they can do this.

I have a quick question about the no slash rule. I was going to post my fic here but though there isn't really slash in the story it is mentioned that two male OCs have been together in the past. Is that okay?

NCIS special Ops is a good forum and one with brilliant Moderators. Not many other sites (EG DWO) do

As long as you stick to the rules you can write any kind of fanfiction you like: novels, short stories, poems, scripts... It's completely up to you.

If I'm up against eight bogies, the only real question left is: which one do I kill first?

As long as you stick to the rules you can write any kind of fanfiction you like: novels, short stories, poems, scripts... It's completely up to you. In Ian Fleming's original "James Bond" stories, they were actually short stories but it wasn't a complete story in any sense. They were more like the psychology of Bond in a moment such as looking through a sniper scope as he's about to take out a target or having a brooding moment of his purpose just before he meets up with M. Scenes like that. Would a format similar to that be acceptable as fanfic for this site, SG? Also, is there a minimum word count?

No, no minimum or maximum limits as long as it's not for a challenge. If you know you'll write more than just one or two things you can open a thread for yourself and post your stories there or, if they're especially long, a link to them with a short description or summary so the posts don't get overly long. The format is completely free: short stories, novels, poems, scripts, anything at all. We encourage all writing.
