I confess when I first joined Sean's group there was a slight sense of awe that he was a member there, but it didn't take long to settle in to the whole, "Oh, cool, Sean's posted,", as opposed to, "OMG!!!! SEAN MURRAY POSTED!!!!" ;D That I can look upon this person that I am a fan of with respect for him as a person, because he's given us an opportunity to get to know him in some small way, rather than simply blind admiration for a celebrity who has no idea the site exists in their honour, nor do they care, is very special. I don't have a problem myself with posting "A question for Sean" messages, I've found it's the quickest way to get his attention, LOL! But to each their own - that board is all about comfort for everyone, and we do what we're comfortable doing. Now, if I may inject another topic in here, ladies, we are well into page 8 of this current thread. We should start thinking about a name for the next thread. As the PIC (Princess in Charge) I hereby open up the floor for discussion and suggestions! ETA Bugger! It NEVER fails that when I DARE to mention the page we're on, I invariably end up with my post on the NEXT page. I should probably say instead, we are on PAGE 9 of this current thread. Sheesh. I can't win...

I like 'Timothy's people'. Someone brought it up ages ago.
It's funny. You reminded me that when I first re-entered fandom after real life interviened, someone asked me if I had ever had one of those awe-inspired meet-your-idol moments and I could only recall one.
Embarassingly, he was the author of a book on Fourier Transforms that had made my life SOOO much easier. I could hardly speak when I realised who he was which is sad because I was handing out name badges for a conference. Sort of like meeting Thom E Gemcity.
Just in case you had any doubts as to how geeky I truely am.

Well, I've always liked "We're Timothy's People" so that gets my vote.
Anyone else, please jump in with suggestions and opinions!

Yes, I vote for We're Timothy's People because we are, right? It has a nice combination of admiration and awe and that defensive streak we get when someone tries something funny with him, as in we're his people and we'll always have his back and if you don't back off now you'll see us Princesses kicking a$$ and taking names. I like that. I think I would probably forget my own name if I ever met anyone I was a fan of. When I lived in Munich I saw celebrities in the subway, on the street and at my company a lot because we were involved in this charity organized by a (for German standards) pretty famous actress but they weren't people I particularly cared about so it was more of a "hmm, sat next to XY on the subway today, whatever" or "yeah, she's really nice, totally down to earth and she snatched my lunch banana from me". It didn't get me excited though because if you don't admire them it's easier to see them as what they are, just another person. If I ever saw Sean I'd probably hide behind a tree or something.

Yeah! That's exactly how I feel. Thank you! As for the thread name, let's be wild and call it "Hot lips" Muhaha! (OMG I love his mouth ) I'm kinda kidding so feel free to ignore my suggestion. I'll back up "Timothy's people" because like Sean's girl said, we are just that.

Timothy's People does it for me!!! I think it was Burntsugrr who picked up on it from...whatever the episode was - where his publisher called Gibbs and Tony "Timothy's People".
I'm back, everybody!! Two weeks with my American Chum showing her the sights of dear old Blighty and now I'm back. Thank God!!!!!!!!
(Ah, Pete Townshend flashed his chest at the Who-> gig. I am still swooning three days later!!)

I really need to stop by here more often.
One that came to mind was something Michael Weatherly said on the commentary - Probie-One-Kenobi.

Oh Saskie thank you!!! I feel loved here already!! I am still on a high from having Sean reply to my 2nd ever post on the yahoo fan site! lol. Oh and as for corrupting me?? Its way too late for that!! hehe I will visit as often as I can but I prefer to do that when hubby dearest isn't here because he cant resist teasing me and taking the p**s!! If he knew I posted on this site I would never hear the end of it!! I told him about the Yahoo site and what a mistake that was!! He called us a load of gullible, hormone driven girls and said Sean was an imposter! I am sure the limp will wear off in a few days!!! Anyway I have a lot of reading still to do so better get catching up. Oh yeah and can someone tell me what the clone thing is all about?? Thanks guys!! **hugs** Jan xxx

Thanks guys!! **hugs** Jan xxx Then honey, you didn't hit him hard enough!!! LOL! Now the clone thing, is an imaginary friend in the form of our favourite characters. It's just a bit of fun, everyone here on the various fan threads have clones kicking around, giving them foot massages, defragging their hard drives, feeding them cheesecake and wine, and generally just bowing to their every whim. You've reached the required number of posts to apply for one whenever or if ever you'd like to. See the first page of the thread for the application procedures. By the way, if you haven't figured it out yet, I'm Lynda on Sean's Yahoo board, and on Brian's Yahoo board too if you ever pop over there.

Hi Giggles,
My husband said the same sort of thing. He travels a lot. He knows I write fanfic but he hasn't read any of them yet. I've read him a few snippets and he's looked at me as though I am crazy.
I'm ozgeek from Sean's site too. Welcome.
