Well... about time someone wrote a decent McGee/OC story. And posted it.
Can I just say something right now? I love you, burntsugrr. I love you, and I just can't hide it anymore.
Your writing is lovely. Your character is lovely. I think I love them the most because they remind me of my writing/me. But that's just my vain side. I'd love it if it didn't, too.
BTW: I reviewed your story at FF.N as RomanticDramadyGirl.

Offmyrocker: You're the sweetest. I've been trying to slog through some stuff I have to do and then I plan on answering your review over there. I think we probably have a bunch of stuff in common.
Michelenz: Are these pictures from online that you want to send or from your computer? I can probably help you. If they're online just post the links and I'll throw them in my photobucket if they're on your computer email them to me at grissomsgal@yahoo.com and I'll take care of it and then give you the links.

Michele, I'm sure there must be a way for you to get your Jimmy and McGee clones. We'll see to it that you can manage it somehow!

You're welcoming, burntsugrr... LOL I'm not that young, though. My profile is REALLY old. In fact, I've been feeling really old lately.
BTW: I've decided I'll post as an actual reviewer on FF.N and a reader/real life person on the blog. I've even started creating a character for myself. It's quite exciting; a bit like role playing, except without the confusing forums.

Speaking of fanfics. I have just set up an archive of McGee fanfics on fanfiction.net called 'Mainly McGee': www.fanfiction.net/c2/41040/3/0/1/It contains 70 stories where McGee is a main character (my definition, not yours). There are some McAbby there but I left most of them to the 'Geek Love' archive run by someone else: www.fanfiction.net/c2/25323/3/0/1/Leaving on holidays, seeya

Oz- thanks so much for getting us organized. There's a new entry in Que Sera Sera but now I'm gonna stop putting alerts for new "chapters" here so try to remember to look for them in the fanfic section, okay? Oh, also, for anyone who tried to comment at the blog version on my fic yesterday and couldn't because I had it set up not to accept annonymous comments, sorry, that's fixed now. All comments are taken as of today.

Who else died when Timmy and Tony started in on the banjo duet? I thought it was perfect. A great example of the fact that Tony doesn't completely resent Tim, and Tim's got a goofy side, just like Tony... ^_~

The Duelling Banjos duet was hilarious! Totally spontaneous and syncronized goofiness!

A great example of the fact that Tony doesn't completely resent Tim, and Tim's got a goofy side, just like Tony... ^_~ I see it as Tim is finally relaxing into his part of the team and allowing his true personality to shine through. And if Tony gets a partner in crime (so to speak) all the better. That scene really shows the evolution in their relationship. They're more equals than senior agent and probie now. Also really liked how McGee interacted with Ruby. He was willing to accept her abilities on her own merits and provide positive feedback to her, something I think that he probably wishes he had more of from Gibbs. Good episode for McGee.

I was kind of hoping there would be SOMETHING between Ruby and McGee... even if it wasn't huge, I still thought they should have done a little date thign or had a CONNECTION! moment. There was a connection there, but it was more of a... friendly thing. They connected as friends. And he didn't seem that interested in having anything to do with her after the case, which was a bit of a let down.
I don't know why I expected much; I think I've just always identified with the actress who played Ruby. So I REALLY wanted McGee to be like "Hey, she's pretty cool."

Hmmm... funny, that wasn't the impression I got. I thought maybe the interest was mutual, not just on Ruby's part.

I totally thought McGee liked Ruby too. In fact my coworker (who got me into NCIS in the first place) said today that he bets she'll be a recurring as a love interest for McGee. I love that actress so I'd be so happy if that happened. Am I the only one that did a big fan girl squeal when he winked at her? oh, and? Tongue!
