meg....you got a kick out of her in the bruce lee story.....pun totally intended?? lol yeah she looks so young in that movie but i think she was 30 at the time. wait what am i saying...30 IS young (i turned 30 this year BLEH). i have a pic or two i'll share in a bit. somewhere on my computer i have a link to a website where you can watch lauren in the tv show from the 80's, spencer for hire. i believe it was her first tv appearance way back in the day. when i find it, i'll share it with you. talk about young! she looks so tiny and teenagerish and even sounds really young. gotta run for now my younger sister is movin away today so when things settle down around here later i'll be back to post all the other stuff. ~Jamie p.s. to the awesome ms. ponytails....i didn't realize that was her either in what women want. i have seen quite a few movies of hers that i never realized that was her until recently. she is really good at changing her appearance and can go from prim-and-proper school teacher to sex kitten very easily. i think it'd be fun to be able to change your looks so dramatically. ok really gotta run now!~bye~

She could have been a great spy!

you're right...she would be a good spy with her ability to change her looks i'm workin on organizing my pictures and once i get that done i'll try to get some posted that show how different she looks in some pictures! here are a few pictures from the movie dragon: the bruce lee story. lauren played linda lee, bruce's wife. you can click on them to see the full sized photo. If you want to watch a trailer of the movie you can here: www.imdb.com/title/tt0106770/trailers-screenplay-E11730-10-2There is also a different trailer on youtube that i like better: I did find the link to the episode of Spenser for Hire that Lauren was in called Home is the Hero. She plays Emily, the troubled teen's girlfriend....she shows up about 3:30 min into the ep. It's from 1986 and you HAVE to love the 80s clothes and hair! Could the shorts for guys get any shorter??? Anyway, here is the link if you want to check it out: video.aol.com/video/tv-spenser-for-hire-home-is-the-hero/1636823Enjoy! ~Jamie

thanks for posting the pics aerie! i found a video of lauren and michael leaving the club that night....here's the link if you want to check it out: www.hollywood.tv/celebs.php?name=Lauren+Holly&s=v&page=40272they're both so darn cute! gotta love weatherly's laugh! and on a completely different subject.....have any of you watched the season 4 dvd cast roundtable discussions? i guess i never really thought about how hard it would be for lauren to play the serious one while everybody else gets a chance to make people laugh....plus her character is the one people love to hate the most. that has to be really tough sometimes. i thought it was super sweet of mark harmon to tell lauren that she is doing a really good job of playing the type of role the director requires and that she doesn't give herself enough credit. so i have a question for everyone....what are your favorite scenes with jenny shepard and what do you think some of her best lines have been? happy friday ~Jamie

One that comes to mind for me is at the end of Hiatus where she says something about "Pinpin Pula will blow the Cape Fear. Everybody dies!" She sounds so cute and feisty as she says it.

Ooh, good point, Nath. If you're reading this, Happy Birthday, Lauren!
Another good scene(s) that was humorous if not exactly flattering to her character (but I bet Lauren had way too much fun playing it) is any time she's got Gibbs and Col. Mann in her office and she's baiting them. That's so perfect.
I also liked her concern and the fact that Jen picked up that something was wrong with Gibbs on Sharif Returns and seemed to be the only one who noticed. (Which surprised me, to be honest - I wouldn't expect Col. Mann to notice since this was only her second time working with Gibbs, but Abby & Ducky especially have been working with Gibbs forever. Ziva caught on to everything with Tony. Tony's worked with Gibbs for several years and yet misunderstood. Go figure) And that she warned Col. Mann about it. Go Jen!
Also, when she put her hand on Gibbs' forehead while he was unconscious on Hiatus. (Lucky her!)
She had several good moments on Jeopardy, especially her comment "He thinks of me as a wife. He's been divorced three times."
