I kind of hate to admit this, but I've got to the point where I'm not too worried about missing NCIS -- but I will break speed limit laws to get home in time to catch LA. It is definitely my favorite show on tv! Thought this was a great follow-up to the Kensi-centric eps. Everyone was involved and the case was interesting. I was so afraid Cleary was gonna be the bad guy -- because it seems like whenever they bring in a special guest star, that's what happens. So I was pleasantly surprised by the way this one played out. What I loved: *All banter. They are sooo funny. *The basket ball games. Especially at the end with Referee Hetty. Poor Eric. But I can see him singing rather than playing. *lol* *Sam's shirt. *The look on Callen's face as he watched the reuniting of mother/son and father/daughter/grandson. Priceless. I am SOOOOO impatient for the LA/H50 crossover. [H50 is my 2nd fave show on tv.]

I liked this epiosde, no I loved this episode. And I too actually like Wendy. After seeing last weeks episode, where McGee and Abby were a couple, and Tony and Kate (or not, I didn't really get that), it kind of put me off on the Tiva, McAbby and other combinations-thing. I also do not like the fact that none of the characters is in a stable or any kind of relationship for longer than a couple of months. I agree. In most shows - not all, but most - it seems to me, at least one of the people has a steady relationship. These people are all failures in that department. And I know someone's going to say Palmer is getting married, but unfortunately he's not a main character. And I won't believe he's married until we see the wedding photos.
Yes. And Tony jerking open the door. "Guys, I invented that." [or however he said it.] *lol* I was thinking - what a "Tony" thing to do.
Just my opinion. I think Gibbs is fully aware. I also think he hopes it won't happen - you know his rule about dating a co-worker. I don't think he'd reprimand them in any way if they did have a relationship, but I think he'd be on edge, waiting for it to fail...

I think what Wendy said was that Tony was honest with everyone -- EXCEPT HIMSELF... And I agree that Wendy seemed to sense that Tony has feelings for Ziva.

I really liked this episode. And I love Miguel Ferrer as the guy you love to hate.
I did have one problem. When they were listening to the 3 different tapes, who was talking? Was it the real Chameleon - or the guy they arrested in the end, who they thought was the Chameleon till they realized he didn't have the scar? I thought it was the real C they were listening to. But if so, how could Callen tell they were all the same guy -- but not recognize [fake] Källström's voice as being the same also? That confused me.
Can't wait till next week. the previews were ... WOW!

I like this one, too. Not as silly as I feared it would be.
As far as Gibbs playing Cupid... I know they all accused him of that, and he laughed and didn't deny it. But after listening to Ducky's convo with Tony, I saw it more as Gibbs trying to help Tony find closure. To me it sounded as tho Tony was pretty torn up when Wendy left him - Gibbs would have been right there with him...
I'm probably in the minority, but I kinda liked Wendy.

My reaction falls somewhere between Belinda's and celestial's. I did like the show - thought it was meant to be more thought provoking than action packed, but as celestial pointed out, there were inconsistencies. I won't go into them since she did such a stellar job.
One point you brought up, c, was Mom's reference about Dad changing the bed sheets. I don't remember ever hearing about how Gibbs' mom died, but from this statement I get the impression she was ill. Cancer, maybe. Something that confined her to bed and made her to weak to do anything for herself. Her statement about leaving was the best thing she'd done seemed to me a euphemism for dying. From this episode I get the idea that Gibbs and his dad are a LOT alike. I can imagine Gibbs, had he and Shannon been in this situation, refusing to hire a nurse/aide and doing all the care on his own. Sounds like that's what his dad did for Anne.
As far as naming K/T's baby Kelly ... I was actually expecting Shannon.
