I refuse to believe that Gibbs really kills Fornell.
Loved seeing AJ again. He'd be a great recurring character. Of course, I don't really want any of them to be in trouble and need him. *lol* But I do miss him.
What else did I love? *Angry Abby. Always fun! *Elevator time. And Abby and Palmer thinking they should have meetings more often. *Tony/Ziva *Ziva's outburst about her "family." *Everyone showing up for the hearing but Gibbs. Where's Gibbs? On a mission.
So many questions! Is someone else really behind the Gibbs witch hunt? If so, who? Why? Did Gibbs really shoot Fornell? Where's the rest of the team? WHAT was the PLAN?
September can't get here fast enough!

Can't wait to see how they get Callon out of this mess! And Little Ms. Hettie -- what's up with her?
Looking forward to an exciting season!

I thought this was GREAT!!! I'm racking my brain to figure out how they're going to get Callen out of this one.
My only "dislike" was ending the season with Hetty turning in her resignation... again. They can only do that so many times before it becomes annoying. But since I thought everything else was fantastic - I"m willing to overlook it.

My first take was that Sam is hurt/killed. But unless LL is moving on to something else, I can't see them doing that.
I admit, my first thought when I heard Renko was back was that he would probably be killed. I hope I'm wrong, but he's not been around at all this year, has he? So if they have to kill off someone close to the team, it's probably gonna be someone whose not been around much lately. And as much as I love Renko, I'd rather it be him than Nate.

Don't forget to watch the conclusion of the Hawaii Five O/NCIS:LA crossover tonight at 9!!! Part one was great -- Sam was surprisingly McGarrett-like while riding with Danny! *lol*

...I wonder if maybe the "anti Tiva, everything" crew invaded. It happened on the CBS board, IMDB and they tried to ruin Land of NCIS, but left to creat their own board, finally. I hope people return here. The show is bigger than ever and so much fandom is worth exploring...o well, wait and see, I guess. There are a number of us who really aren't into the Tiva romance, but are still around. I think people are just too busy to take the time to post anymore. I know I rarely do, but I check in here every day - usually 5 or 6 times a day.

Can anyone tell me how I am supposed to follow this episode? Should I watch an episode of Hawaï Five-O too to understand everything, or is the HFO-eps the same as NCIS LA's? I believe you will understand the storyline best if you watch the H50 episode that will air Monday April 30th. It's the beginning of a 2 part episode. The NCIS:LA episode will be the conclusion to this story arc.

*lol* And I found it much more entertaining and interesting than last week's episode. More background on Tony - always a good thing. And I thought he really did look younger in the flashback - HOW do they do that?
Ziva and McGee's concern over Tony was good to see. I'm glad they've been pretty consistent with this - whenever Tony begins to act strange - which in Tony's case means acting responsible and getting work done - they worry and confront him. I think that's what true friends/co-workers would do.
So WHO hired the arsonist? I have no clues yet. Is this going to be a season ending arc?

I thought you were kidding till I googled it. Seems the crossover eps are the only episodes he will miss. Figures. But I'm glad he realized he needed help and got it. One of the articles said prescription painkillers is one of the hardest addictions to beat because it messes with your nervous system.

Great episode. As most usually they are.
It was sooooo good to see Nate again. And did you catch he said he'll be around for a while? I wonder if we'll be seeing him again soon? Loved the Nate/Nell interaction. Would've liked a little more Nate/Kensi interaction since they were "partners" for a while.
I thought the plot was great. I knew they had the wrong guy, but I thought we would find out he was set up by a terrorist cell. And then I was sure the girl was in on it, too. WRONG AGAIN! *lol*

I thought this was a fun episode. To me, episodes of this show are either written seriously or as comedy anymore. They used to be able to mix the two, but now it seems they tend to go either one way or the other. So, I saw this as a "comedy" ep for the most part -- and I love the thought of Abs as "best woman." Because she is!!!! *lol*
I think drakeissix hit the nail on the head. They tried to cram way too much into this episode. The case. Gibbs' romance. Ziva/Monique. Jimmy's wedding. Traveling to Colombia. Did I miss anything?
I know this show is character driven - more so than being plot driven. But I think there's a fine line between drama and soap. Dwelling too much on the romantic relationships - whether the characters are dating or the writers are keeping us in suspense about the relationships - makes me think "soap." And I don't care for it. I don't mind the Gibbs/Sam relationship, I just don't want to dwell on it thru out the whole episode if she happens to be on it. As for Tony/Ziva - it reeks of Mac and Harm on JAG. And just like on JAG, I really don't think they're going to commit to a relationship until the end of the series. I may be wrong, but I think the writers are having too much fun teasing the Tiva fans -- and they also know there are a lot of fans who don't want it to happen.
I also think whenever our crew has to go to a foreign country for the job, it should happen at the beginning of the episode. To me, everything seems hurried when they wait till half way thru the show to send them wherever.
Having said all that, you're probably thinking: "And she thought this was a fun episode?" I did. I've learned not to expect high drama from this show. I watch because I do like the characters, love the team interaction, and Mark Harmon and Michael Weatherly are gorgeous.
Yes, I am shallow. Sue me.

I enjoyed this ep. I always do. But if felt more like filler than anything. Not as compelling as usual. My only real complaint was I felt that they've trusted Sam's judgment before, in cases regarding military personnel -- including SEALs -- so why make that the big issue in this one? Callen to Hetty: Sam was right... That just seemed so hokey to me. Of course Sam was right! Isn't he always? Well, I do think these guys should've received a reprimand of some kind, but then again - the guys was selling us out...
Not enough funny Deeks for my liking either. But that could have been because of the issue they were dealing with. Plus, it was a Samcentric ep.
