Jen's hair looked alright, but that should have not been part of the plot at all. She wants attention then she doesn't. Someone should totally fix her thought pattern or something. It's annoying the heck out of me. I thought that was something that came across as a bit awkward and I still think that the writers just don't have a good handle on Jenny and what to do with her character yet. I agree that she isn't written consistently and I don't think that DPB is known for writing strong female leads, I think that his shows have been male dominated, in some instances though it has made me wonder how DPB views women in the work place. I think that this was one of those episodes where the perp. was easy for me to pick out because, I thought of it from the perspective of who is the person that I should least suspect. I wasn't surprised that Gibbs wasn't there to pick up his award, it came across as in character and he was also late for Kate's funeral. I also enjoyed the dead flowers that Abby gave Tony, it was funny and in character considering that Abby's a Goth and I liked how Abby got Tony off of the stage after he accepted Gibbs's award. I also have to remember that this isn't the type of show that you neccessairly have to watch in order.

I liked this episode and I found it hard to comment too much on the first part before I saw this episode because of the issue of loose ends. I like Ziva and I think that it would be unfair of me not to give her a chance beause me not liking her won't bring Kate back. I like Ziva's confidence in herself. I also hope that she is given an opportunity to be developed as a character without it being overly shippy as I thought it was a bit much with Kate last season. I did like Abby and McGee's hug because it was lighter moment and it was in character for both of them. I also have to mention Tony's pool scene. I also liked how Kate's funeral was handled because, it was simple and everyone was in character there. I also liked seeing Gerald again and I thought that after seeing him again that Jimmy is a bit awkward.

Didn't Abby say in one episode both her parents were deaf? She did and we also learned that she learned sign language. I remember that she and Gibbs used sign language briefly in a scene in a Season 1 episode.

I know that Michael sang briefly during his appearance on the Sharon Osborne Show.
