This show is in it's 7th year. As shows go it's getting long in the tooth, very hard to come up with new and original concepts. They should bring in new consultants to help writers come up with ideas. Not necessarily new writers - though that would work, IF THEY MAKE THEM WATCH EARLIER SEASONS AND GET TO KNOW THE CHARACTERS... sorry. There are a lot of good fanfic writers who come up with new ideas, mine those, if they can. Although this is not the place for this discussion I will answer this coment. Writers and the show runners will not touch FanFic with the proverbial 10 foot pole. They avoid FF like the plague due to copywrite and lawsuit issues. There are those FF authors who would be more than willing to sue if they thought their ideas were being used by the show. There are some good Fan Fics out there. The problem is they tend to focus on one character to the exclusion of the others. Anyhoo, as I said this is not the place for this type of discussion, so back to our regularly scheduled program. If anyone wats to discuss this further let me know and I'll open a thread.

It was okay. Sam went undercover in a gang. I have to say. I love me some Hetty. She's just awesome. I wish she was the director of NCIS. Also, was I hearing things, or did they drop the N bomb? I don't remember the N bomb. It was a well done episode. Sam is beginning to carry around a boat load of guilt. I really liked Sam introducing Callen as his friend Ernie, now if when they broke into the dead marines apartment Callen could have introduced himself as Bert, I would have been a very happy woman. Hetty as Callen's guardian angel...perfecto!

From your lips to God's ears. I liked it. I even liked the ending, because I saw it as her testing the friendship waters. I disagree. I enjoyed last weeks episode much more than this one. It reminded me too much of Doppelgänger. I actually hoped that they would come up with something different. Except Abby all hyped up about her Caf Pow! I didn't see much joking and fun interaction. I liked the fact that they mentioned Jimmy's new girlfriend. He really deserves this new relationship and it's good to see that they talk about it. The case was interesting and I really didn't expect the way it developed. This show is in it's 7th year. As shows go it's getting long in the tooth, very hard to come up with new and original concepts.

9 Alicia Coppola [as Lt. Faith Coleman] was much better adversary/interest, imo. I so totally agree!

I found it to be a very enjoyable episode, fairly obvious in keeping with the NCIS tradition of naming the villian in the first segment. Point off though fof the Lawyer woman who is nothing more than an irritant. Gibbs deserves better.

Rarely n the 7 years that I have been following NCIS have I given an episode a 10. This is one of those times.
I was totally pleased the episode turned out as well as it did. It could have been a disaster, but it came out very well. MW and RW played off each other so perfectly. It could have been a buffoon-a-fest but, was surprisingly poignant.
I was very happy to see the Gibbs/Tony dynamic back like it hasn't been since season 1. I can't wait to have CBS put it up so I can watch again.
BTW women change jewelry all the time.

Okay, this episode made totally no sense to me. I do like Tony in competent cop mode though.

I'm wondering and would like your opinion. Since Mark Harmon has a producers credit now, is he slowly decreasing his screen time? It seems to me that there has been less of Gibbs this season than in the last few.
