omgomgomg wet and smirking Gibbs in the one thing your to nice macanother thing what exactly is Gibbs doing to Tim He's standing right behind him (quite reminiscent of how he sneaks up on Tony ) as McGee is staring at Abby's bum as she searches for evidence in the car that they drove to the warehouse which now has multiple bullet holes in it. Abby is about to (or just has, I forget which) tell McGee to "Stop staring at my butt and get me an evidence jar." (or words to that effect.) But I like how they're both getting an eyeful. ;D

I loved Maine. We visited Bar Harbor, Ogunquit, and Acadia National Park. And I've had other boat trips there that were fine. But I have a request for the talented people here on the Gibblet thread....someone, please, please, make some screen caps from the premiere tonight...if you've seen it, you KNOW which scenes I'm talking about! ;D And yes, our 'silver haired fox' was in fine form, as usual. Season three is off to a great start!

I think it was "Bikini Wax"...heaven help McGee if he has to go out on the water! (Though I have to sympathize..went on a whale watching trip once and got my inner ear all out of whack and was miserable the rest of the trip. Not fun at all...and no dramamine around either. ) < I think it was when we were up in Maine, too. ;D >

I think I'm going to have to have some Dramamine nearby whenever I view the Gibblet thread from now on! (Heaven help us if they figure out how to get the messages to jump up and down! )

I think that I've died and gone to Mark Harmon heaven! Speedo...wow...*starts drooling over all of these pics and makes the computer short circuit* Amen to that! I think we need some of those plastic keyboard covers like Abby has! And maybe get some thick gymnastic-type pads for TLso she doesn't get hurt everytime she 'swoons'. ;D

Okay, we got speedos the second time around ;D.Not sure why the computer decided to share this time, but that's okay. Good thing there are arms on my computer chair, though, or I'd be on the floor! Six days to go.....(was going to try to count the hours but the 'speedo' pic made my brain all mushy, so will settle for days... )

(Removes cold compress from forehead...) I feel better now...but it still seems awfully warm in here! Thanks for all the gorgeous pics of our favorite Gunny. I especially like the top one of yours, Sailor, nice thoughtful contrast to the one right underneath. Only a week and a day to go.......

Good point about Gibbs at the end, FatCat.! I hadn't thought about what it looked like from Gibbs' point of view...which helps explain his nose-to-nose confrontation with McGee. I had initially chalked it up to Gibbs wanting to make his point very clear about not second-guessing yourself...hadn't considered that he might be having a flashback to Kate being shot.

Fatcat wrote: "And tell me, my dear Gibblets, is that why we have to wait a whole two weeks just so 'all' of you can tend to him with your TLC before we can see a new episode? Because he's so exhausted after that he can't lead a case this week? " Um. Yes. And if that's the case, can they take 4 weeks off? ;D Uh, Rain, four weeks might be a little much...people might wonder if Gibbs comes back to work on a stretcher hooked up to an IV. ;D ;D

When Jen told Gibbs she got the locals to release McGee into NCIS custody AFTER Gibbs was on his way out the door, my mom said "why didn't she say so sooner?" LOL Amen! That whole scene was so unnecessary...she should just have come out and told Gibbs when he walked in that she had taken care of it. I'm tired of her alternately being " Madame Director" or "Remember Paris"..she needs to decide whether or not she wants to be the boss or the squeeze and be done with it! (actually, the writers need to decide, but you know what I mean...). One minute she's all "I'm the director and you will do what I say." and the next she's "Remember Paris" and making goo-goo eyes at him. Gibbs tries to be respectful (for Gibbs ) and then she changes the rules in mid-conversation and he doesn't know if she wants to be saluted or kissed. (Sorry, I got a little carried away....)

After having a few days to 'digest' the episode, so to speak, maybe the problem we're all having with it, the 'letdown', is that Ari delivered himself up so easily. Did he really think that Gibbs was just going to stand there and let Ari stage the 'suicide' ? Ari had been playing with him for at least two days after Kate's death...had Ari seen Gibbs act in anything less than a professional manner at any time? I can't really buy into the idea (sorry, DPB) that Ari let his 'I hate my daddy so I'm going to kill Gibbs' fixation overwhelm his ...I don't want to call it his 'good sense' but can't think of the words I want..Ari always had a backup plan, he respected Gibbs' abilities and never underestimated him...until now. IMHO, thats the problem with the ep..all of a sudden Ari gets stupid and we're supposed to buy into it. And having Ziva be the one who killed him, instead of Gibbs, doesn't really bother me...it's the whole 'I was a smart, inventive, conniving terrorist and now I'm suddenly dumber than a box of rocks' thing. (Sorry, didn't mean to start ranting and raving...just had to get that off my chest. )

Rain, your episode recap was the greatest! Except I had to try not to laugh out loud because it's almost midnight and my hubby is asleep in the next room and I'm sure he wouldn't understand why I was laughing so hard. <sigh> Poor Gibbs...constantly getting wet and NO COFFEE! He hasn't had a cup in his hand since he dropped the one outside the building when someone (Ari, the other guy?) shot at Abby. And who picked out the outfit for Kate to wear in her coffin? Probably the same person whose been doing Lauren's hair..she needs to get a new hairdresser. (no offense meant to any hairdressers/stylists out there..). I loved Tim looking up underneath the TV, Ducky's ringtone, Tony's improv at the hotel (are all the Tartlets ok? ), and yes, Gibbs was right about Ari all along. But how did Ziva shoot him in the head if she was on the stairs? Or was she outside and shot him through one of the basement windows (like Gibbs shot the guy in "Marine Down") but if she was outside, how did she get inside so fast after Ari went down? I know, picky, picky , picky! I'm betting Ziva will be back for a while to help find the missing plutonium, though. Plus, Gibbs needs to wear a suit more often.
