Whoever the eye belongs to, I am assuming has accessed MTAC fairly recently. I'm assuming that if an agent was missing or dead (and how come nobody is looking for this person if they are?) then their MTAC access would be revoked from the system. No sense in keeping everyone's retinal scans in there - and MTAC access seems to be available only to certain people anyway. Oh wait, I'm thinking like this is Real NCIS and not Show NCIS.

MTAC iris clearance seems to be only for the directors, each team leaders, and the MTAC techs, at least that's from what I've seen. So I guess the question is, who do we (the audience) and the team know that has blue eyes and MTAC access? This most definitely means NCIS personnel, and from the actors and writers' tweets, it's someone who will have great impact on the show, so which recurring or guest NCIS personnel would this belong to? I'm gonna assume it's not Pacci or Morrow as Pacci is long dead and Morrow is no longer director.

Probably from someone assumed by NCIS to be on vacation or leave, and "great impact on the show" really means how this will all play out in the finale story arc. Not that it is someone with great personal significance to either the charatcers or us (ie no Fornell or etc.). Loved the holster porn, and also that we got to see some parings that it seems we haven't for a while (Tony & Tim) - or is that just me? Also, Palmer got some good stuff (OMG - does that mean he's doomed?).

Well it's kinda like the removable face thing, which I'm still laughing over, because none of the other team members have had a problem getting into MTAC whenever the "story" calls for it, it's a device poorly used.

Not that it is someone with great personal significance to either the characters or us (ie no Fornell or etc.)... I don't think we can positively say that it won't be someone with "great personal significance" - but I admit I like your theory that it just means it's significant to the finale story arc. These people LOVE to make a play on words and totally get us going... Personally -- I was fascinated with the face mask... But I think we've already established that I'm very simple and easily entertained. ;D

This episode had the potential to be so much better than it was and I would say the same for EJ's character, maybe I could take her seriously if she showed some maturity and wasn't written like some little girl in junior high. I don't see Tony and EJ's relationship working out well because exactly let's face it it's Gibbs's show and so they'll break up and or she will meet some kind of demise.

I undersand the need to have EJ at odds with Gibbs, but did they have to make her SO unlikeable?

And you've hit the nail on the head -- if she ACTED like a professional mature lead agent, I would be more upset about the way Gibbs' treats her. I'm not condoning his behavior, but there's a part of me that says she asks for it...

Am I the only one who was bugged by the fact that Tony didn't appear to close the microwave door when he was done reheating his big lump of whatever? Microwave doors left open is a peeve of mine.

On, I'm so with you on that celestial. I could hardly concentrate on the scene afterward, I kept trying to stare over his shoulder. After I got over that I loved the scene with EJ. "Gibbs is like the Shadow and the Shadow always knows." Totally our next Gibblet thread title btw. And when she said he was scared of Gibbs and he simply said "Yes!". Loved it. There's no shame in that. I've only watched it once so far so I'll have to get back to y'all on the rest but can I just say this: LOVED THE SHOULDER HOLSTER! Sorry for yelling but it was that great.

EJ acts the same way as Gibbs, but in a woman it's somehow offensive. Don't get that.

Gibbs may act difficult, but to me he doesn't come across as a spoiled little brat like EJ does. It's not because EJ is a woman, it's because she is an annoying twit and that would have shone through even if the character had been a man.
