E.J. and Stratton are back. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay. /sarcasm Despite the fact that those two particular characters (whom I both despise!) are back, I'm looking forward for this episode in a couple of weeks.

Oh boy I am really hopefully they will end the silly stories of EJ , the evil ex FBI agent Stratton and the current crooked Sec Nav in this episode. Hopefully they will all catch lethal cases of 9mm lead poisoning because I'm tried of them already! Their all just silly stereotypical dramatic character contrivances that add nada to NCIS . Really they desperately need to get some fresh writers because so far this season "grand story line" has been a annoying torturous bore.

I am so thrilled that EJ is back. I liked her from the start when, as a fellow team leader, she didn't let Gibbs ride roughshod over her as he does with almost everyone who crosses his path.
Can't wait to see how this plays out tonight and am hoping for some great interaction between Tony & EJ. If the photos are any indication I think it will happen.

The hotel guy was the best. "You don't need to see my I.D."

Real good episode last night. The Tiva moment (and yes, I consider that a Tiva moment.) basically made my night, haha.
I hope that Ziva says no to Ray next week.

I really wanted this storyline to be over because none of these characters add anything to the show for me. This season has not been as hard to watch as Season 5 for me where I only liked one episode from that Season.

I'm so sorry but it was not a good episode. It had a few great moments though. * The witness that kept saying she doesn't like to get involved. Hysterical. * The hotel clerk. Also hysterical. * Gibbs yelling at Tony to stop yelling at EJ. All three were great is this scene. I love it when Tony gets the opportunity to show his anger because Michael is so "darn" good at it. * Tony opening up to the exhausted EJ who'd drifted off to sleep and him covering her up. * Gibbs telling SecNav that Stratton/Cole is "gunning for my best agent".

I liked this one. I thought it was interesting -- and more like the "old" NCIS when I started watching this show.
* Loved the scene with Gibbs, Tony and EJ. Tony's anger was great. Considering he's the buffoon most of the time, they could've made his anger sound stupid and teenager-ish, but they didn't. I also like that Gibbs told him to chill. Even tho EJ is not Gibbs favorite person, he knew they had to figure out what was going on - and allowing Tony to vent wasn't getting them any closer to that. Gibbs main concern about getting the killer was because Tony was also a target.
*Stratton. If they use him right, he could be a good villian. Like the guy who played Clark PALMER on JAG. On a side note, they {NCIS} have never found the "bad/good guy" or "good/ bad guy" character - like Clayton Webb on JAG. I think Joe Spano's Fornell is supposed to be it, but he's not around enough... And he seems mostly to be a friend now.
*Ziva/EJ's talk. And EJ telling Tony Ziva cares. I'm not a Tiva person, but I thought that was well done. Not soppy-gooey, just stating the facts.
I'm not sure about Sec/Nav. He came thru for them. He reminds me of Vance. There's more to him than what meets the eye. That could play out interesting if they write it right.

Well I like this episode A- grade . I especially like how they end the EJ saga with out destroying Tony. I also like the nice balance of drama and humor in this episode . The balance that episodes s1 thur s4 usually had but been missing lately. Also it was nice to see the Sec Nav act like he was someone who had the interests of the Navy and the US 1st instead of acting like some time keeping flunky trying to pad his resume so he can make more money as a corporate lobbyist. And what was agent Stratton blathering about Gibbs killing innocent people in Mexico? The only people Gibbs or Mike Franks killed in Mexico were drug cartel thugs? Any way I like this episode,

There is speculation that Gibbs may have killed the wrong man. My thoughts are Mike Franks believed (almost the way Jennie did) that Hernandez had to be taken out no matter what and made sure that Gibbs was the one who did it...
