OK, shazp, you are officially ever so DEAD. ;D If you try and order a "Kölsch" in the Düsseldorfer Altstadt you will in all likelyhood be shot within 10 seconds. They don't drink KÖLSCH in Düsseldorf, they drink ALT. And people from Cologne and Düsseldorf hate each other's GUTS, btw.

A proper present for Ziva from Düsseldorf would have been a nice item from one of the many boutiques on Düsseldorfs famous Kö, the elegant shopping mile. And being the lady's man that Tony claims to be I am sure Tony would have picked something nice from "LA PERLA" again... ;D

Oh, btw, another funny thing was Abby's "did you go to the bar in Düsseldorf I told you about" thing. If you go to the Düsseldorfer Altstadt (the old part of town) there are literally three gazillion bars, pups or "Kneipen" (as we call them). So Tony would probably have spend days finding the right one. ;D

As for a proper present for McGee: Mmmh, I would have picked "Joy Denalane", any CD. Or maybe a "Zidane" jersey... ;D

There was an article released last year that said Gibbs' injuries would continue into the new season. I'm thinking it's a safe assumption that yes, in fact he does still have amnesia.

I'm guessing that what happened with the picture is Gibbs found it in his stuff like someone said and brought it to ask her about. He remembers that he and Shepherd had some type of previous relationship (remember his flashback on Hiatus 2?) but doesn't remember much about it. When she made the comment he felt too uncomfortable to ask, so he just gave her the photo.

He probably also doesn't remember that she's the one who dumped him with that Dear John letter and just thought since she apparently had some good memories from that time he'd give her the photo as a keepsake.

Cindy and I talked a lot about that over the weekend and we're both pretty certain, at least in our own minds, that he honestly didn't remember Serbia when Jen mentioned it. In my own mind, I'm thinking maybe he still doesn't remember it, but came upon the photo while at the house and gave it to McGee to pass along to Jen. And that tells her (and us, of course) that he recognizes that yes, they were in Serbia, but says nothing to her (or us, of course) about whether he actually remembers anything about their time in Serbia nor why they were stuck in that cabin for a week.

I personally wouldn't use the term "amnesia" to describe where Gibbs is now, but rather would use "memory loss" or "continuing memory loss," but that may be my own quirks.

It was the perfect thing for Tony to bring back because Tony is a big basketball fan. The Dallas Mavericks star player, Dirk Nowitzki, is from Germany, and they made a big deal in the playoffs last year about how much Dirk loves David Hasselhoff.

I caught part of this when it was rerun and one thing that really bugged me was having it look like Tony was Gibbs at the beginning when he's coming out of the elevator. To me that felt a little cheap and it ticked me off given how upset a lot of us (including me) were at Gibbs leaving on the finale. It would be like if on Twilight they'd opened it by making it look like Tony was bantering with Kate on the way back from the rooftop and then we realize it was a dream or something on Kill Ari.

I saw the ep for the first time (finally) and I absolutly adored it I loved the Elevator scene....the one where Tony and Gibbs are on their way to ziva ((see now I even say Tony and Gibbs its usually Gibbs and Tony LOL)) btw does anyone have the complete quote from that whole scene including

"you know I could arrest you for striking a federal officer"
