I'm in the UK! Maybe we should organise a 'with you in spirit' thing to coincide with FF for those of us stuck on the wrong side of the pond...

Now *that* sounds like a plan pinkmonkey... ;D maybe if we were to meet up somewhere central in the UK...I'm in Leeds, we've people in Manchester, Nottingham, Liverpool and a few Scots too...and people all the way down south in Plymouth...so who knows...it might just be feasible... ;D

I think you should do it! I know that the best part for me was the opportunity to meet face-to-face some of the people I'd been reading on this board. And a weekend with like minded souls is always fun!

I bought my plane tickets today. So I can cross that off of my list of things to do.

righty ho, been having a think re this and i think manchester or could make it blackpool but manchester would be most central to everyone, secondly when would you all want it to happen, and thirdly what kind of things would you like to do eg have an ncis viewing marathon? just blether about our fav show, go sightseeing, shopping etc. if its successful weekend we could maybe build for bigger next year for those who cant go to official one, a sort of uk and euro fest ;D
who all from uk or anyone from euroland too would go, just to get an idea of numbers etc

I wish so badly I could go... I looked up how much the travel alone would cost, and the cheapest was 5000 kr = 1000 $ just to get to Los Angeles, and I'd have to fly back eventually. D': and even if I had the money, I'd probably miss a lot of important stuff at uni.

I will most definately attend you can count on that ;D

Manchester sounds good to me...it's literally only an hour or so by train for me....and we should hold it on or as near the date of the US one I reckon...and we should try to include as much of what the US fest has too...although we've no hope of getting anyone from the show over here...we can make do with what we've got...a love a great show...and the chance for 24/7 natter about said show...I'm SO up for it.... ;D
Blackpool will be overloaded at this time - still tourist season...as usual...and ideally, we need someone Manchester based who might be able to suggest suitable venues and maybe b&b's or something...

Well Alan Dale is in "Spamalot" in London at present, so you could try inviting him. You might need to organise a FF this year if you do invite him, not sure sure how long his run is for in the West End.
