Last year was the first time I'd stayed at the venue for the FanFest, since I live in Anaheim. That's 40 miles down the freeway from the original venue in Van Nuys and around 30 miles from the BG. And I'll be staying at the venue this year, too. Much more fun that way, and I have a great roomie!
