Yikes! Looks like this season is NCIS in distress. First Tony and now McGee.

Is it me or does that sound like a CSI NY episode when Danny killed a policeman in a subway and it turned out to be his partner trying to shut him up, who really shot him?

Yikes! Looks like this season is NCIS in distress. First Tony and now McGee. The same as I thought. I wonder if they will maybe show this ep a little later in the season because it comes too close to Tony's ep.

;DThanks, GG!
Sounds like a good epi-I do agree it probably won't be on too close to "Tony" getting accused of murder!

I dunno... Tony's ep is listed as 55, this one as 56. Maybe they will be back-to-back, and it was pointed out to me as well that November is sweeps month. Can't beat a little drama with individual characters. They're usually pretty compelling. Personally I can't wait to see both these eps, so I hope they'll be back-to-back weeks.

Well if it means we get a good Tony episode, followed by a good McGee episode, then I won't mind. Question, will this be the first time Tim has actually killed somebody? I know he's fired his weapon before, but has he ever actually been the one to kill a perp?

He killed a terrorist in Twilight, the one that was shooting at him by the car. You don't see him die but McGee says he thinks he got him because he stopped shooting.

Gibbs told him to hold his position and they'd flush him out. Then I think the terrorist (if it was the same one) popped out of the doorway and they got him on the roof. But McGee was shooting to kill, so the intention was there.

3.09 - Tony is accused of killing someone - team works to exhonorate him 3.10 - McGee kills someone - team works to exhonorate hime
I think I see a pattern developing here, let me guess:
3.11 - Gibbs kills someone - team works to exhonorate him (it was probably something justifiable - like someone smiled at him - justifiable for Gibbs at least)

It is November sweeps so it wouldn't surprise if 3.11 is like that but they would probably don't go that route. They're not stupid.

The only thing is you have to know that it will be justified. Otherwise McGee would probably have to leave NCIS. Kind of takes a little bit of the suspense away there.
The whole thing kind of reminds me of the news story about the "Shoot to kill" mandate that went wrong last summer. Some police officer accidentally killed an innocent civilian or something like that.
